How counting works
Words are groups of characters separated by spaces. Sentences end at . ! ? or the Urdu full stop ۔ and question mark ؟. Paragraphs are separated by blank lines. Reading time assumes about 200 words per minute.
Counts update as you type and work for Urdu, English and mixed text. Urdu compound words written with or without a space can change the word count, and tools like Microsoft Word may show slightly different numbers.
